How the public Solar Planner and approved access handle information.

Calculator inputs on your device

Appliances, quantities, usage and sizing settings are stored in this browser for returning visits. Public calculation does not submit a contact request or send a quotation. Start new plan resets calculator inputs; clearing browser site storage removes locally saved preferences and plans.

Approved accounts and private access

Approved sign-in uses Firebase authentication. Account identifiers, approved membership, sign-in events and security records are processed to check access. Private website sessions use HttpOnly cookies and server records for expiry and revocation. Management access requires additional verification. No public signup is offered.

Hosting and optional analytics

Hosting providers process request information to deliver and protect the service. When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, page views and calculator interaction events may be sent to Google Analytics, including basic browser/device information. Analytics is disabled in local emulator testing. Calculator appliance lists and contact details are not included in these analytics events.

Your choices

Use the public calculator without signing in. You can clear site storage, change your browser’s cookie controls, or sign out of approved access. Private account and audit records are separate from your local calculator plan; approved team members should contact their workspace administrator about account data. No fixed deletion or retention period is promised here.
